Abstract

Monitoring the displacement of the earth's soil is important for tracking the dynamics of the landslide process, the tendency of its continuous development and developing of measures to mitigate the negative impact. Utilizing of this technology is not widely spread because of its high cost, as well as demand for integrating numerous additional sensors to track factors and control the movement of landslides. In order to solve these problems, we have developed a remote monitoring system for the pre-destruction of the earth's soil based on a fiber-optic sensor and a moisture sensor. The system registers certain parameters, functions as a ground displacement detector, also transmits data to the server (Observation Center).
