Methodology of the Determining for Pearson's Criterion based on Researching the Value of Delays in the Transmitting of Information over a Multiservice Network
Abstract
This article is devoted to the research and statistical analysis of the distribution of delays in transmitting information over a multiservice network (MSN) based on routing protocols of the OSPF and EIGRP. The analysis based on the method of calculating the Pearson criterion, which allows us to calculate the agreement not only of the practical and theoretical values of the distribution, but also to calculate the homogeneity of two independent experimental samples. The values of delays at the nodes of transmitting information over in multiservice network using the OSPF and EIGRP protocols were taken as independent experimental samples. The results of the experiment on values of delays show that their values have a very close meaning. This is proved when calculating the Pearson's criterion, equal to 0,28%.
