Abstract
In the innovative development of the economy of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the building materials industry has a special priority. The paper considers the most important factors for the sustainable development of this industry. It is determined that it is the basis for subsequent work to ensure the effective innovative development of enterprises in the industry under study.
