Abstract

In this work the magnetic fluids based on Ni x Co 1-x Fe 2 O 4 with x = 0, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7, 1 are obtained by the chemical co-precipitation method. Crystal structure, morphology, elemental composition of the Ni x Co 1-x Fe 2 O 4 nanoparticles and magnetic properties of the magnetic fluids are studied by X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscope, energy-dispersive X-ray analysis and vibrating sample magnetometer.
