LATITUDINAL AND TEMPORAL ANALYSIS TO LONG-PERIOD VARIATIONS OF THE CORONAL BRIGHT POINTS

Abstract

The analyses of temporal and latitudinal variations of wavelet spectra for the number of Coronal Bright Points (CBP) in 23 and 24 cycles of solar activity were carried out using the Morlet wavelet function. Variation of the CBPs total number does not show any noticeable correlation with the sunspot cycles. On the other hands the CBPs number at high latitude zone appears to be in anticorrelation with the solar cycle.
