Abstract

Charge topology of fragmentation of 1.2 A GeV 10C nuclei in nuclear track emulsion is studied. In coherentdissociation of 10С nuclei about 82% of events belong to the channel 10C → 2α + 2p, while just in about4% of events fragments with charges greater than two are observed. Angular distributions and correlationsof produced fragments are presented for this channel. It is established that among events 10C → 2α + 2pabout 30% correspond to dissociation via the ground state of the unbound nucleus 9В with subsequentdecays 8Вeg.s + p.
