The System of Music Education in Azerbaijan: the Role of Sound Engineering and Concert Sound Engineering in the Educational Process
Abstract
The article considers the sphere of education, culture and art of Azerbaijan. The sphere of sound engineering, the issues of formation and development, tasks, and practical activities are studied. The research laboratory (acoustics laboratory) "Study of the Azerbaijan oral tradition of professional music and its new directions: organology and acoustics" is considered. Education, culture, art and music are the main objects of research in the artistic universities of Azerbaijan. A comparative analysis of the artistic universities of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan revealed the achievements and shortcomings of the two systems. The acoustic capabilities of concert halls and outdoor venues are covered. The role of sound engineering in the educational process, as well as its functioning in academic, traditional, folk and pop concert activities, and audiovisual art is studied.
