Abstract
A fundamental solution to the system of equations of the poroelasticity theory in the nondissipative case is obtained. It is shown that when the porosity disappears, the obtained fundamental solution goes over to the fundamental solution of the system of equations of the theory of elasticity. The inverse problem of determining a distributed source from the system of equations of the theory of poroelasticity in terms of the free surface vibration mode is also considered. Using the method of spherical means, a formula for solutions of the considered inverse dynamic problem of the theory for poroelasticity is obtained.
