Abstract

This paper analyzes methods for both detecting and preventing DHCP attacks. A flow scheme for DHCP packet filtering and a workflow scheme for DHCP depletion prevention is proposed, starting with the registration process that must be performed by each WLAN client that will join the network. As well as an algorithm flowchart for filtering DHCP packets based on DSCP is presented.
