Abstract
AbstractThe article provides statistical data on the effectiveness and side effects of topical drugs in the treatment of cutaneous leishmaniasis. The absence of clinical symptoms leads to late diagnosis and treatment of the disease. The main goal is to draw up the correct treatment plan and prevent the occurrence of a secondary infection, as well as prevent the early onset of the scarring stage. It is characterized by increased levels of IL-12, IL-2, IFN-y and THF-a in response to increased Th1 and decreased modulation of IL-4 and IL-10 production, which promotes increased macrophage activity, which is critical for management and clinical treatment of the leishmaniasis parasite.
