Abstract

This article deals with the spread of the Jadid movement in Turkestan, Behbudi’s role, participation and contribution to this movement. It also includes concepts on the national liberation movements, national and cultural development, education and upbringing, socio-political events in Uzbekistan in the late XIX and early XX centuries.
