Abstract
This article discusses the principles of using PON networks and their reliability. It also analyzes ways to ensure the reliability of these industries. The purpose of this article is to study the reliability of Passive optical network technology based on the analysis of various network protection schemes and the possibilities of their use for PON networks, respectively.
