Abstract
In the structure of the cervical spine injury, upper cervical spine injuries occupy from 5.5 to 35% and 1 to 2% of all spinal injuries. The main task in their treatment is the prevention of secondary displacements if possible elimination of deformations and ensuring reliable stabilization.
