Abstract
AbstractThis article discusses chrome-nickel-silicon steel used for surfacing sealing surfaces of pipe fittings of chemical, petrochemical and power equipment. In order to increase the wear resistance of surfacing alloys, the effect of additional alloying of the deposited metal with boron, molybdenum and other elements on the service properties of this alloy is investigated. As a result of alloying, the resistance to scoring of deposited metal alloyed with boron and molybdenum increases by 1.5–2 times.
