Lexical-semantic field of "clothes" in phraseological units with names of clothes
Abstract
This work is devoted to the analysis of phraseological units with names of clothes and their application in the language. Phraseologisms make speech brighter, more figurative, stylistically diverse. They also have such a property as emotionally expressive evaluativeness. Due to the nominative and communicative functions, phraseological units are used in different spheres of society, in different language styles. The aim of the undertaken research is to identify the linguoculturological features of phraseological units with names of clothes in English. On the basis of the English language, this work examines the problem of the national-cultural component with the meaning of clothing, which helps to identify the features of the phraseological picture of the world of the language in question
