Abstract
AbstractSubcutaneous (SCIT) and sublingual (SLIT) immunotherapy methods are more commonly used to deliver the allergen to the patient. Both methods are able to alter the natural course of the disease and prevent the emergence of new sensitivities [6]. The use of ASIT leads to a reduction in the symptoms of the disease, a decrease in the need for treatment, and in addition has a long-term clinical effect by preventing the development of allergies and its symptoms. Treatment affects the underlying immunological mechanisms responsible for the development of clinical symptoms.
