ASSESSMENT OF THE PROCESSES OF SILING THE STEERING RESERVOIR
Abstract
The article discloses the process of siltation of the reservoir, which is one of the most pressing problems of today. The analysis of studies of the causes of siltation conducted in the field, to reduce it and overcome the consequences, as an object of study, the Chartak reservoir is considered. We studied the decrease in the efficiency of the operating mode, the decrease in the useful volume due to sediment deposition in the Chartak reservoir for several years, as well as the influence of these processes on the water balance of the reservoir. The factors affecting the operation mode of the reservoir, its negative consequences are analyzed. When studying this process, on the basis of long-term statistical data, as well as on the basis of the results obtained in field studies, conclusions are drawn about the amount of sediment accumulated in the reservoir.
