Abstract

The article discusses the methods of water preparation for waterflooding of oil deposits. Various methods of impact on the reservoir, both artificial and natural species, have been analyzed. In conclusion, the authors proposed an installation designed for the treatment of saline water with a content of dissolved salts of sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron, etc. up to 50 g / l for water treatment, injected into the reservoir. The content of the article describes in detail the method of water preparation for waterflooding of oil deposits.According to the authors, as a result of treatment, water hardness is eliminated due to the transfer of salts of two or more valence metals into an insoluble precipitate. The authors suggest that in this way, using the unit, it is possible to obtain water practically free of harmful impurities and suitable for injection into the formation in order to maintain the reservoir pressure.
