INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE IN FORMING MODELS OF REGIONAL COOPERATION AND THE CASPIAN SPACE

Abstract

The article examines the characteristic features inherent in the Caspian region. Analyzed the geopolitical understanding of the history of the development of Russian relations in the Caspian region in the context of the Eurasian geopolitical school. The evolution of the Russian approach to determining the international legal status of the Caspian Sea is determined, and the main mechanisms of Russian diplomacy in the region are studied on the basis of an analysis of dissertation research by foreign scientists.
