Abstract

The article deals with the formation and development of city culture, in particular, the changes in city life during the Arab Caliphate. In the VI-VII centuries the city of and its environs were ruled by Bukhara gods. The city consisted of arches, inner and outer city parts. At the beginning of the VIII century was conquered by the Arab caliphate. During the Arab period, the structure of the city, the location of the population, housing, the construction of defensive walls underwent changes. During this period, the first mosques were built.
