Abstract

The article dedicated to the research of the concept of time from the point of linguocultural characteristics and cognitive basis, signs of the transition of time based on phenomena characteristic of all cultures. The work analyzes various aspects of time in English and Uzbek languages in the use of linguistic metaphors based on examples.
