Abstract
The state of development of the ICT sector in the country, the process of digital transformation and the level ofcompetitiveness of the national economy in the world market have been studied. The main indicators of the global and Uzbek ICTmarket are analyzed. A multifactor model has been developed to predict the volume of communication and information servicesin Uzbekistan. The forecast for 2021-2025 was made, conclusions and recommendations on further development of the digitaleconomy were given.
