AbstractIn this article, the author outlines the essence of distance technologies and gives examples of the use of elements of distance technologies in teaching mathematics and methods of teaching mathematics to full-time and part-time students of the primary school faculty. The importance of independent activity in the professional training of a teacher is especially noted: what is learned independently, consciously, motivated, provides a higher level of development.
