CONCEPT AND ESSENCE OF THE PRINCIPLE OF HUMANISM: PHILOSOPHICAL AND LEGAL INTERPRETATIONS

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to analyze the concept and essence of the principle of humanism as a general principle of law, the formation of this principle in the political and legal thought of mankind, the connection of humanism with the concepts of morality. Various definitions of the concept of the principle of humanism, its connection with such concepts as the legal system, legal relations, legal responsibility, legal proceedings and execution of punishment are analyzed. The article examines the principle of humanism both from a philosophical and a legal point of view, examines the influence of humanism on legal culture, ideology and other spheres of public life.
