Abstract
Abstract It is one of the oldest cities in Tashkent and has a history of more than two thousand years. According to historians, this two-thousand-year-old city, although referred to by various names as Chach, Shosh, Binkent, Tashkent, has been one of the political, economic and cultural centers of the centuries. This article is devoted to the history of mahallas and mosques built in Tashkent, the architectural types, structure and constructive solutions of the mosque building. The number and main parts of the ancient mosques and the style of the building have been studied. The evolution and architectural features of their formation are described.
