Abstract

This study studied the state of expression of microRNA 134 and 3665 in HIV-infected patients with asymptomatic neurocognitive impairment and HIV dementia. It was revealed that there is a repeated increase in the expression of miRNA 134 and miRNA 3665 in patients with HIV dementia than in patients with asymptomatic neurocognitive disorders and patients in the control group. It was also revealed that HIV dementia was often found in patients with IV – clinical stage of HIV infection. The most common clinical manifestations and chronic comorbidities such as chronic viral hepatitis B, weight loss of more than 10%, the presence of Kaposi’s sarcoma, the presence of Pneumocystis pneumonia and fever.\n\n\n
