Features of the dynamics of clinical, neurological and neurophysiological manifestations of polyneuropathy of coronavirus etiology during treatment with acupuncture
Abstract
Analysis of modern literature data showed that COVID-19 is not only pneumonia, but a systemic disease, which, in addition, is fraught with many complications. In addition to the usual weakness and shortness of breath, these are panic attacks, lesions of the central nervous system, disorders of the reproductive system in men, and others. Among 143 hospitalized with COVID between 19 and 84 years old, two months after the onset of the disease, only 12.6% had no symptoms, according to a study in Rome. 32% have one to two symptoms, 55% have more than three symptoms. 44.1% reported a deterioration in the quality of life, more than half complained of increased fatigue (N. Zhu, D. Zhang, W. Wang, 2020; J.F. Chan, S. Yuan, K. Kok, 2020).
