Abstract

An interesting issue is the role of agricultural products and plants in general, for the community of people who lived in the past, as well as the use of artifacts that are plant remains to find answers to a number of archaeological and anthropological questions. Previously, researchers relied more on written, ethnographic and archaeological sources when recreating the agricultural system of Central Asia. However, the archaeobotanical or paleoethnobotanical methods that emerged at the beginning of the XIX century were practically not used. The article gives a brief overview of paleobotany.\n\n
