Abstract

In connection with a significant increase in the number of patients with end-stage renal failure worldwide, high mortality and an increase in the cost of treating this category of patients, the psychological state of patients receiving chronic hemodialysis has become the subject of close attention. The aim of the study was to identify psychosomatic relationships in patients with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis treatment. Thus, the psychological preparation of patients with initial manifestations of renal failure for a possible transition to chronic hemodialysis can serve as the prevention of psychosomatic disorders in patients with chronic renal failure.
