Abstract
Within the framework of the Great Silk Road transport strategy, Central Asia is seen as a link between China and South Asia. This fact gave impetus to the Central Asian republics for the development of their railways. To maintain the position of the leading player, the Republic of Uzbekistan needs to develop its railway network in every possible way in order to provide the shortest path for economic interaction of the territories of China with South Asia, while constant modernization and strengthening of the capacity of the operated railways is required [1-4].
