Abstract

Abstract: The article reveals the study of parems in a discourse-related situation, in particular, the peculiarities of the use of proverbs, parables, wise sayings, as well as phrases in political discourses. Where necessary, texts on Uzbek and British political discourse are compared and their peculiarities are addressed.
