Abstract
Economic security as an independent branch of modem science is becoming particularly relevant in the context of global integration processes and powerful external influences on the economic systems of national states. These processes are objective in nature, therefore, they require in-depth study in order to effectively use the positive aspects of global transformations, and equally effectively prevent the threats associated with them. But considering the modern aspects of this scientific problem, it should be noted that “economic security” is primarily a historical category, since practical tasks, theoretical searches in this area have a stable historical basis.
