Abstract

The paper considers a mathematical model of colloidal particles transport process in a two-zone porous medium, in both zones of which there are reversible retentions with different characteristics(parameters). In each zones there are two regions, in one of which the rate of particle retention is higher than in the second one, and the rate of release of particles is relatively low than in the second one. The obtained equations of mass balance and kinetic equations in the one-dimensional case are solved numerically. Two difference schemes are used differing whith approximation of equations. A comparative analysis of the results was carried out. It was found that the reversibility of kinetics leads to a slowdown in the deposition process and a decrease in the rate of suspended particles concentration in the fluid.
