Abstract
In this paper, a $$q$$ -Dirichlet–Neumann problem with discontinuity conditions on a finite interval is studied. It is proved that the $$q$$ -Dirichlet–Neumann problem with discontinuity conditions is self-adjoint in $$L_{q}^{2}(0,\pi)$$ . Finally, it is shown that eigenfunctions of this problem are in the form of a complete system.
