Abstract
Abstract The article studied the components, types and properties, as well as the classification of composite materials. The direction of use and methods for obtaining new structural materials are considered. The developed new technology for the production of composite materials is described, which is used for the manufacture of parts for ironing equipment of sewing enterprises. The method of forming the working surface of ironing tables from a new composite material is substantiated.
