THE CURRENT STATE OF THE PROBLEM OF DIAGNOSIS OF THYROID NODULES (literature review)

ABI

Abstract

A review of the literature revealing the current state of diagnosis of thyroid nodules is presented. A detailed description of the sensitivity and informativeness of ultrasound, fine needle puncture aspiration biopsy, computed tomography and radioscintigraphy is given. It is noted that not one of the modern methods does not claim to be 100% accurate in detecting nodes, each of them has special advantages and additional value for differential diagnosis of thyroid nodules.
