Dynamics of Quadratic Operators of Idempotent Measures

Abstract

We study dynamical systems generated by some quadratic operators, mapping the simplex of idempotent measures to itself. The types of fixed points and the set of limit points of these operators are determined. Moreover, trajectories (i.e. dynamical systems) of the initial point $$x^{0}$$ with respect to quadratic operator P in cases $$n=2$$ and $$n=3$$ are described and characteristics of fixed points are defined.
