Methodology for assessing economic indicators of economic activity based on ABC analysis

Abstract

The article considers the ABC-analysis method as an effective way of product classification, which allows to identify a priority group of goods by quantitative indicators. This method is implemented in many paid software products, however, small and medium-sized businesses in most cases cannot afford to purchase them, and therefore the article proposes a methodology for using freely distributed software to perform analysis. In this paper, the ABC analysis method is implemented in the Rstudio environment for statistical calculations and graphics in the R language, with the help of which the visualization of the ABC analysis method is presented by quantitative and qualitative indicators of belonging to a certain group.
