REHABILITATION POTENTIAL AS A CONSTITUENT OF THE PROCESS OF RESOCIALIZATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE WITH ISCHEMIC STROKE
Abstract
Stroke today is still an unresolved problem of the modern medical community, leading to a high percentage of death, and in case of survival, to disability, which significantly worsens the quality of life of patients and complicates the process of their resocialization and social adaptation. Aim of the study: To assess the rehabilitation potential of young people with various subtypes of ischemic stroke. Methods: This article presents the results of assessing the rehabilitation potential of 83 young patients with various types of ischemic stroke according to the ICF using the NIHSS, Ashforth, Branstrom-Fugl-Meyer and Barthel scales. Results: The results of the study showed that the rehabilitation potential was higher in patients with hemodynamic stroke and stroke of unknown etiology, in turn, in patients with atherothrombotic and cardioembolic variant, cases of lack of potential were recorded, which significantly worsens the rehabilitation prognosis and reduces the chances of patients in this category for complete resocialization.
