Abstract

Abstract The article presents the results of calculating the saw gasket vibrations in the steady state operation of the linter machine. It was established that the stable position of the equilibrium of saw gasket vibrations is achieved in the steady state operation of the linter machines. To determine the vibrations of the saw gasket in the steady state operation of the linter machine, calculations were conducted with expansion into a series of kinetic and potential energies. As a result of the calculations, the frequency and period of oscillations of the saw gasket were determined under the steady-state operation of the linter machine with aluminum alloy and steel materials. Calculations have shown that an increase in the frequency of vibrations is 2.88 times for steel gaskets and a decrease in the period of vibrations is 34.7% relative to the aluminum alloy. The results of calculations of the vibrations of the steel saw gasket in the steady state operation of the linter machine showed the resistance to vibrations and the expediency of their use in the linter machine when assembling the saw cylinders.
