Abstract
Abstract The article examines the use of grid bars and spiky cylinders in a small-grained cotton ginning machine. The results of the experimental tests were also compared with the results obtained in the existing structure, and the data are presented in the tables. When the recommended grid bars were installed on a hexagon (edge length 70.8 mm), the cleaning effect of the machine increased by 2.7%, and after cleaning, the amount of small waste in the raw cotton decreased to 0.07%.
