Abstract
Acute hematogenous osteomyelitis is one of the most severe purulent surgical diseases in children. As a result of late detection of the disease, the frequency of disability in children after treatment ranges from 8.6% to 12.0%. Early initiation of treatment, combined with the possibility of early detection of the disease and monitoring the effectiveness of treatment using ultrasound, allows 93.4% of patients to be cured without complications.
