Abstract

The paper deals with development of atmospheric dispersion model and numerical algorithm using spherical coordinates. The proposed finite difference scheme allows to reduce computation steps in solving the problem of estimation and fore-casting the concentration of air pollutants emitted by stationary point source. Analysis of numerical results allowed to identify the impact of harmful industrial emissions on Akhangaran Valley environment and next to work out reasonable recommendations for minimizing possible environmental risks.
