Abstract

This article focuses on the research conducted in the field of linguistics focusing on the role\ndialectisms and their expressions in speech in English and Uzbek substandarts . Furthermore, the\narticle is devoted to the study of dialectisms and their functioning in two languages. The peculiarities\nof dialectisms are highlighted as words that are stylistically neutral directly in the dialect, but\nstylistically colored in the speech of the author and characters. The article is particular interest for\nresearchers of dialectisms, folk speech and dialectal vocabulary.\n
