PROBLEMS OF TRANSLATION OF THE CONCEPT "DUTY" IN ENGLISH AND UZBEK LANGUAGES
Abstract
This article examines the relationship between the linguistic picture of the world presented in the source language and the language of receptors. The material for the analysis was one of the basic concepts of linguistics - the concept of duty - in comparison with its English counterparts. The author emphasizes the importance of studying the basic concepts inherent in a particular language and reflected in the semantic system of the poly-semantic word for linguistics and translation studies. The study of these concepts in the language of the source and the language of receptors can provide translators with great help in understanding the peculiarities of the national perception of the world and allows the most effective use of this information in the translation process.
