Abstract

Neologisms appearing in the Spanish language of Argentina indicate the growth of valence and the spread of these words in a certain territory. Argentinisms give the Spanish language a great stylistic diversity, taking into account the peculiarities of its use. In the course of word formation in the Spanish language of Argentina, lexical changes occur that distinguish this variant from classical Spanish. Argentine Spanish words tend to narrow their meaning. This phenomenon is associated with the reduction of polysemia in the Argentinean variant. Words denoting one object in Spain, in Argentina they call a collective image.
