Abstract
The policy of mass collectivization occupies a special place in the history of the Surkhandarya region in 1920-1930. During this period, as a result of collectivization, private property in the district was liquidated, and collective farms were created in its place. Those who opposed collectivization were arrested and exiled to distant countries. According to archival documents of that time, many grain-growing farms in Surkhandarya were also dispossessed. This article provides information about the repressions in the Surkhandarya district as a result of mass collectivization.
