Abstract

This article written about personification, a type of metaphor, in which the origins of this trop, its views and opinions are highlighted. In a system of tropical means that enhances speech expression and its image, personification is traditionally distinguished. Personification is the expression of the characteristics of living beings in the events and objects of the inanimate world. And in the myths, legends, and literary texts that have come down to us from ancient times and the Middle Ages, people`s belief in a certain mystical connection between man and nature, in the living nature of the world around them, is clearly reflected.
