Abstract

The article is outlined the role of blog technique in teaching a foreign language. To do this, the criteria for classifying and selecting blogs for educational purposes are presented, the didactic functions of the blog as a learning tool are considered, the issues of increasing motivation and, as a result, the effectiveness of learning a foreign language are touched upon.
