Abstract

Abstract. The study includes a comprehensive ultrasound examination of the kidneys with Doppler vascular scanning in 39 patients with acute kidney injury (AKI) in dynamics, before and after treatment. The study allows clarifying the etiology of AKI, prescribing adequate nephroprotective therapy, predicting the severity of AKI already at admission, and diagnosing the transformation of AKI into chronic renal failure.
